Horse #3
The horse was always my favorite animal growing up. My dad told me that since I could talk I said that I wanted to own a horse. I always thought it would be amazing to be able to run like a horse with all that speed, power, and freedom. So I've always liked studying the anatomy of the horse and doing small sketches and drawings of them. A few years ago I did a rather large portrait of a horse's head for my grandparents. They loved it and I started doing a few more. This is the third in my series.

Happy Macaw
When I was in high school, I used to paint lots of different birds. I was fascinated with the various colors, textures, and patterns on their feathers. I hadn't done a painting of birds in a while, so I decided to get back into drawing birds with this colorful macaw. It was a lot of fun to create. I loved drawing all the little details in the feathers and skin around the beak.

Hope, Through a Snow Leopard's Eyes

Snow Leopard Stalking
I am absolutely fascinated by snow leopards, which you will probably see through my artwork. They are such beautiful creatures and I have totally fallen in love with them. In this drawing, done in chalk pastels, I wanted to capture the beauty of the snow leopard's face - those amazingly intense eyes and all those glorious spots.
